We are being given a choice between two parties which have proved themselves deplorable in their own way. This is why people refrain from voting and the far right stays in power by default.
I'm in SF and have followed Newsom since Willie Brown appointed him to the Board of Supervisors with no qualifications. He would kill to be President. He believes it is his destiny.
It is all one big facade. If the Dems (or any political leaders) are afraid to say what a woman is, anything they say is null and void.
