I'm a 67 yo Black woman, no children, and everyone in my existence has always believed in protecting children from harm, the boundaries between adult behaviors and children and the right to sex-separated spaces. And I believe the majority of US society believes same. Yet the minority group who does not hold these values, successfully organized in the past ten years and working through elected officials, Democrats, implemented their ideology while we, the normal majority, were none the wiser. As more normal people wake up, this fight continues.

Unfortunately , Democrats are willing to remove Chesterton's fence.

If you are not now politically homeless, you are not paying sufficient attention.

Bravo Kristen. So beautifully articulated. The narrative the trans activists constantly chant is inclusion for “trans” but in actuality it’s replacement of women, gays and lesbians. And instead of addressing the harms that is being done to children by proposed “inclusive/education awareness” legislation, the activists tap dance around the truth that it is just indoctrination. So infuriating. Homophobic, misogynistic and harmful pedagogic practices. Is there anything else we can add to the list? So infuriating.

Actually I don’t think that bill goes far enough. Plenty of Drag Queen hosted events occur now in family friendly environments. Many of them are not sexually explicit, but they all are examples of “woman face” (the sexed version of black face). Rather than pass overly weak legislation, the culture as a whole needs to shut this custom down and react as strongly as if some white guys hosted a “minstrel brunch” and served tables dressed like black stereotypes.
