Thank you Kristen. I guess I am incredibly naive but how can a police officer be fired for responding to a credible complaint of sexual grooming in a public space where children are involved? Doesn’t he have a legal case for harassment when he was just doing his job? The world has really gone crazy. 🤦♀️
They also can't do anything about men watching the most hardcore, vile porn imaginable in any public space in the public library. Free speech and all (though I'm really not clear on how that's speech). The defense I see on social media is that it's up to you to watch your kids. Never mind that the library is inherently a family friendly place and you shouldn't have to cover your child's eyes and ears to get to the kid's section. This country is utterly ridiculous when it comes to flaunting depravity. And it's turning out to be both sides of the aisle.

But this article about your state of Georgia made me go "hmmm, wait Georgia is Republican" Went down that rabbit hole, learned about the Republican Trifecta since before all this mess started taking hold. But then learned about "Home Rule, which allows local cities and counties to pass their own ordinances when state law is silent."
This is one area I do NOT want Georgia to follow in California's footsteps. I left that place for primarily cost of living purposes, but the bathroom debates were already in full heat back in 2019.
It is important to know that EVERY Democrat in Congress is a co-sponsor of the so-called "Equality Act", which would make gender self-ID instantaneous and unquestionable nationwide, overruling any state laws to the contrary.
I do not know the specific situation in Georgia, but nationwide, at least 99% of Democrats in state legislatures also support gender self-ID, as do ALL Democrat state governors.
