One place that is Ground Zero for this is women's prisons.

Absolutely. Incarcerated women may be the clearest example of this because they have the least ability to simply walk away or enforce boundaries of their own.

“But it seems so complicated, Kristin. Why not just believe people when they tell you who their authentic self is?”

🤮

Thank you for your efforts in the fight for the most vulnerable — including the very people who are clamouring to rollback your rights whether based on their own confusion, mental illness, and/or misogyny 🙏

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I’ve been sooooo tired of people using Black women as a “gotcha” for males being recognized as women. There was no confusion on the plantation as to who could be impregnated and who could be used to breastfeed enslavers children so why are people pretending to be confused now?? It disgusted me how nonchalantly racist and misogynistic they were but yet they were given fake progressive brownie points. The jig is up.

In all my reading, deep-diving into the sometimes-a-cesspool the last couple of years, I don't recall ever seeing the following point ever raised. WHO decided that a "MTF" "trans" person should be called a "transwoman"? The reverse would hold true for a "FTM" "trans" person.....

I still say that a "transwoman" is a man, and that will never change. Same as with a "transman" being a woman. But what if we just called a "MTF" "trans" a "transman"? Or, "a man who is trans", "trans" in this case indicating the persons original sex/gender as determined by chromosomes at conception? The idea of men claiming to be women, as in considering "transwomen" to ACTUALLY BE a woman, is the whole root of the problem. Do you see what I'm getting at here? I see the very design of so-called "gender ideology" to be the root of the problem Does this make sense?

I see what you’re getting at, but that wouldn’t work because claiming the opposite sex is the whole point. “Transwoman” and “transman” don’t just describe transition, the terms place a person within the sex category they seek to enter like a linguistic foot in the door.
